‘Bintou Were, a Sahel Opera’ is now on film and will premiere at documenta 14 in April 2017. On Thursday 30 March, H.E. Ambassador Nienke Trooster presented the Prince Claus Award to architect Vo Trong Nghia in a ceremony organized by the Dutch Embassy in Vietnam. The programme included a presentation by Vo Trong Nghia on ‘Greening the City’ and short films about the Award and his work.

The Prince Claus Fund is pleased to announce the 2017 grantees of the recently launched Magnum Foundation Fund, a program to expand creativity and diversity in documentary photography. In collaboration with Magnum Foundation, the Magnum Foundation Fund provides production grants, project development support and mentorship to both emerging and experienced practitioners.
