Clarice Gargard and Nani Jansen Reventlow join Prince Claus Fund

The Board of the Prince Claus Fund for Culture and Development welcomes new board members Clarice Gargard and Nani Jansen Reventlow as of 1 February 2018. Their backgrounds working in freedom of expression and equality will prove indispensable to the Fund.

“I strive for and envision a more just and egalitarian society where every individual and community has the necessary tools to sustain themselves and the world we live in, while also being valued in all the layers of their existence. As my work is limited to media,  where I try to show undervalued narratives and different perspectives, The Prince Claus Fund does concrete and tangible work in actually supporting those who build and innovate from the ground up. How could I not want to contribute to that?” – Clarice Gargard

“The Prince Claus Fund does important work supporting artists for whom freedom of expression is not a given. I share the Fund’s vision that culture is a basic need and am delighted to be given the opportunity to contribute to their work.” – Nani Jansen Reventlow
